Wood Bowls

 

I have a friend who has turned into a very good bowl turner. I did not want to make the same kind of bowls as him so I learned how to make bowls from wood that is typically 3/4 inch thick by 8 inches by 8 inches. I cut them on my scroll saw at a angle so they stack on top of each other then glue them together. Some times I can create "Magic Bowls" that light travels through the sides.
